Built by people who worked
inside restaurants
ChefSync was not born in a conference room. It started between university classes, restaurant shifts, and late nights debugging code in Bucaramanga, Colombia.

Between classes, shifts, and late nights
Two UNAB students were studying technology while working part-time in restaurants. They kept running into the same problem.
The software restaurants used was slow, expensive, and clearly designed by people who had never stepped foot inside a kitchen during rush hour.
On January 14, 2025, ChefSync officially began. Not as a business plan. As a fix for something they lived every day.

Restaurant software was broken
Too many buttons
Screens cluttered with features nobody asked for. Staff need weeks of training just to take an order.
Expensive for no reason
Restaurant margins are thin. Paying enterprise prices for software that fights you makes no sense.
Slow workflows
Every click takes forever. During rush hour, seconds matter — and legacy software steals minutes.
Designed by outsiders
The people building the software never worked a Friday night shift. They do not understand the chaos.
Two founders, one obsession

Joseph Samuel Palomino Contreras
Co-founder
“Restaurants move fast. Their software should too. If kitchen staff need weeks of training to use your product, the product failed — not the staff.”
“Some of our best meetings happened inside restaurants, not boardrooms. You cannot build software for kitchens without understanding what happens inside them.”

Co-founder
From Santander to the world
Bucaramanga is not a tech hub on most maps. That is exactly why we chose to build here.
Direct
Santandereanos say what they mean. No corporate filler, no buzzwords. Just honest work and honest software.
Stubborn
We do not give up on hard problems. When something does not work, we keep going until it does.
Resourceful
Building with constraints forces clarity. We learned to do more with less, and that shapes every feature.
Early stage, not early quality
We are two people building software we believe in. These are the principles that guide every decision.
Simplicity over features
We would rather ship one thing that works perfectly than ten things that confuse people.
Early stage, not early quality
We are small. That means we move fast and obsess over details. Our two clients get our full attention.
Built with restaurants, not for them
Every design decision is tested with real kitchen staff. If they do not get it instantly, we change it.
World-class from day one
Being from Colombia does not mean building for Colombia. We are competing with the best global software.
The future of restaurant operations
We believe restaurants deserve software that feels invisible. Technology that works so well you forget it is there.

Invisible
Software should never be the thing a restaurant thinks about. It should just work.
Accessible
Every restaurant deserves world-class tools, not just the ones with enterprise budgets.
Human
Built by people who understand the chaos of a kitchen, not the comfort of a cubicle.
Two active clients today. A global vision tomorrow. The work starts now.

We are early, we are learning, and we are building something we believe in. If that resonates, we would love to hear from you.
